What is the North American RCI Points Partner program?

The RCI Points Partner Program allows certain RCI Points® subscribing members to exchange a portion of their Points for discounts on the value of a wide range of travel products including flights, hotel stays, car rentals and more.

How many Points can I use in the RCI Points Partner program?

As a general rule, in a calendar year, members may use an amount equal to 33% of their annual Points allotment (up to a maximum of 250,000 Points) or 25,000 Points, whichever is greater. RCI Platinum® members may use a higher proportion of their Points in the program - an amount equal to 50% of their annual Points allotment (up to a maximum of 250,000 Points) or 40,000 Points, whichever is greater. How many RCI Points Partner Transactions can I make in a year?

Provided that you have sufficient Points remaining which are eligible to use in the RCI Points Partner program, there is no limit to the number of Transactions that you can make.

Do I have to be an RCI Points subscribing member to use the RCI Points Partner program?

Yes. To make a Points Partner Transaction, you must be a current RCI Points subscribing member who is eligible to participate in the Points Partner program and be up to date with any fees related to your membership.

Can I borrow Points from my next Use Year to make RCI Points Partner Transactions?

Yes, but this does not increase the overall number of Points you can use in the RCI Points Partner program in any given calendar year. As a general rule, the number of Points you can use in the RCI Points Partner program is based on your annual Points allocation. Can I rent (as this terms is referred to in the terms and conditions of RCI Points Subscribing Membership) Points to complete RCI Points Partner Transactions?

No.

What discounts do I receive for my Points?

Discounts will vary by product type, price and timing of the RCI Points Partner opportunities, and will require a minimum number of Points for each RCI Points Partner Transaction. Members will have online access at www.rci.com to the most current RCI Points Partner Discounts. In addition, RCI guides will be available, at 1-877-968-7476 or other numbers published by RCI from time to time, to assist Members. All Discounts remain subject to change without notice at the sole discretion of RCI. Simply select your desired product, and as you check out you will have the option to select how many Points you wish to use (subject to the required minimum), and will be shown the discount.

Am I limited to using specific thresholds of Points amounts?

Each Points Partner transaction has a minimum number of Points that must be applied towards the purchase. If you use more than the minimum amount, you will be able to use any number of Points in increments of one Point to the maximum allowed per year and for that particular Points Partner transaction.

What transaction fees apply?

The transaction fees for RCI Points Partner reservations are as follows:

Why is the transaction fee lower when I book online?

The costs to RCI associated with online bookings are lower.

Does my RCI Points Partner Transaction cover everything which may be payable?

In some cases, additional charges from a third party provider may apply. This may include incidental charges, such as parking and internet service at hotels, or insurance, gas, tax and GPS hire when booking a rental car.

I have a coupon code for one of the third party providers which participates in the RCI Points Partner program - can I use it?

No. Additional offers such as coupon codes from third party providers cannot be used in conjunction with offers in the RCI Points Partner program.

Can I make special requests with hotels or airlines with regard to my RCI Points Partner booking?

If you have any special requirements for your booking (such as late check-in or handicapped access) you should always contact the third party vendor directly.

Can I apply my frequent flyer account to my air reservation to earn air miles?

Yes, simply add the relevant account information when you are prompted to do so during the online booking process. This information will be passed on to the airline, but it is recommended that you check with the airline when you check-in that your information has been added to your booking correctly. Frequent flyer miles cannot be used to pay for any portion of your RCI Points Partner Transaction.

Can I apply my hotel reward program number to my hotel reservation?

Not at this time. If you wish to apply your hotel reward number to a reservation, you should do so directly with the hotel, either by calling or at check-in. This is always dependent on the hotel's own policies.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?

No. All RCI Points Partner Transactions are completely non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable and are subject to terms of conditions of the RCI Points Partner program, as well as the terms and conditions of the third party provider. Any cash paid to supplement Points or to pay Transaction fees will not be refunded. Points are non-refundable.

I found the same thing cheaper elsewhere, do you price-match?

When I make a Points Partner Transaction online, is it instantly confirmed?

In some cases such Transactions are placed in a pending status while being confirmed by the airline. You will always receive an email confirmation when your transaction is confirmed. Also note that while your Transaction has been confirmed, your name may not be added to a hotel reservation system until closer to your arrival date.

Does RCI provide all the products and services available through the RCI Points Partner program?

No. Products and services available through the RCI Points Partner program are all provided by third parties via International OVC Our Vacation Center . Information about RCI Points Partner products and services published by RCI is based on information obtained from the applicable RCI Points Partner third party vendor. In addition to the terms of conditions of the RCI Points Partner program, your RCI Points Partner Transactions are also subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable RCI Points Partner.

Can a guest use a reservation I make using the RCI Points Partner program?

Yes, you can purchase a Guest Certificate for any of the travel services offered through the RCI Points Partner program if you are not a part of the traveling party.

I made a reservation through the RCI Points Partner program, and have a charge on my credit card from “Our Vacation Store”, what is this charge?

The services provided through the RCI Points Partner program are provided via a third party. This charge is for the cash component required as a part of the RCI Points Partner Transaction (including the RCI Transaction fee).

Can I use my Travel Rewards toward the cash portion of an RCI Points Partner transaction?

Yes. Travel Rewards may be used toward payment of a Points Partner transaction (excluding the RCI Transaction fee), under the following rules (prices are in USD):

  • A minimum of $15 Travel Rewards must be used towards any Hotel booking
  • A minimum of $15 Travel Rewards must be used towards any Car Rental
  • A minimum of $25 Travel Rewards must be used towards any Airline Ticket
  • A minimum of $15 Travel Rewards must be used towards any Theme Park Ticket purchase
